Old Mountain Lanes is pleased to announce our new format for Tuesday nights. We have traditionally run one of the largest Prize Fund Leagues around, and after a few years of lower prize funds, we are back to a guaranteed* $75,000 Prize Fund.
We will continue to bowl on Tuesday Nights at 6:45 pm, with 15 minutes of practice. The cost will remain at $30 per bowler, per week, for 36 weeks. Match Point System will be used for a total of 24 points per week, wih individual points awarded to the winner of each head-to-head matchup.
Tentatively, we will be using a more difficult shot on the lanes than in year's past.
The biggest differences in this league versus year's past are we will be lowering the Entering Average Cap for a team from 894 to 865 in the hopes to create some new teams and overall balance the compettion level out amongst all bowlers. Also, the handicap will no longer be based on 90% of the difference between you and your opponent, but simply be based on 90% of 240.
Old Mountain lanes will be running brackets for the league for anyone interested, and we will run a 50/50 Raffle each week to add money to the prize fund.
Lastly, any full time bowlers in the league will be eligible for $0.99 practice at any time they want.
